BULLSEYE, Home team first to throw for the bull, if both players throw and they are the same distance from the bull, then the next player from the away team throws his dart first, alternative throws until the player nearest starts first.
180’s when hitting a 180 during the match, that player home or away gets a free drink (only what he/she is drinking at the time) more than one 180 means you still only get one drink even if you score 3 or 4 etc ONE DRINK ONLY for the first 180 (bars have to be able to make profit)
Whichever team cancels, it is there responsibility to give 24hrs notice to there opposing team, it is also there responsibility to reschedule the game, if both teams cannot agree on a time / day to replay the cancelled game then the BL and points go to the team who had there game cancelled! If 24hrs notice was NOT given and the game is cancelled on the day, then the team who cancelled has to give the opposing team 1,000bt for loss of business.
SCORING, The scorer must stay close to the dartboard (within 1 meter), it is NOT up to the player to tell the scorer the score, this is the SCORERS job to do this! Players must leave there darts in the board until the scorer calls out the score! The scorer can only tell the player what he/she has hit and NOT what he/she has left, also the scorer cannot tell the players which way to go! ONCE the darts are out of the board the score cannot be adjusted, so leave the darts in until the scorer and player agree.
A player can move teams once per a season after he / she has waited the 2 weeks (plays on the 3rd week) However once the player has moved teams there stats will go to Zero as the said player will be removed from the previous team, so any 180’s, hi check- outs, hi check – ins, ton’s, ton plus will be lost! They will NOT be accumalated!
Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays, It’s all about bums on seats! FOR example if the away team turns up with 10 players (which is good for the bar) and the home team have 6 players, then both teams put there 6 players down on the sheet, the remaining 4 player names get put into the hat and the team with the lesser players draws out 2 names, thus making 8 a side! Vice versa, if the home team have more players than the away team then the above still applies! Players who play twice in the singles, PLAY TWICE in the BeerLeg (but only get one team drink)
EXAMPLE, If you have 5 players and the home/away team have 6 players, then put your team names in a hat and the opposition draws out who plays twice! Players get motorbike taxis / bolt etc (which cost money) to the venue to play darts, there is nothing worse than when you get there and being told you cannot play because the opposite team won’t play twice or accept players (BS) we all wanna play that’s why we turn UP!
Food is required on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, NO FOOD is required on Tuesday & Friday!
PLEASE NOTE Sundays ONLY is a 6pm START, all other leagues (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs and Friday start at 8pm)
